Welcome to Trimnells House an imposing and charmingly converted Victorian Farmhouse built in 1871 and set in the North Wiltshire countryside 6 miles from Bath. Castle Combe and Lacock. The latter have been used as film locations for Warhorse Cranford and Harry Potter. We offer large rooms gardens and free parking in a quiet village location. Dine out in the village pubs. Located in the village of Colerne within a designated area of outstanding natural beauty Trimnells House offers high quality accommodation in four spacious (17-21sq metre) versatile and distinctive guest bedrooms each with their own en suite facilities. All rooms are equipped with a plasma TV including a DVD player. In addition to single double and triple room occupancy our generously proportioned rooms allow us to welcome families with well behaved children of all ages. Complimentary Wi Fi Internet access is offered throughout the house to guests with their own IT equipment. Ample off road parking is also available and a full and hearty English breakfast is included as standard. Whilst the delights of Bath are close at hand the village of Colerne itself offers many local amenities including a post office shops and two traditional village pubs providing meals and refreshments......all within a five minute walk.Trimnells House is ideally placed for combining the enjoyment of rural England with the delights of exploring the areas rich and varied history. We are at the hub of Georgian Bath Castle Coombe and Lacock all about 6 miles away. Situated only 15 minutes drive from the M4 we are also within easy reach of Bristol & Swindon (30 minutes) and Cardiff & Cheltenham (1 hour). The international airports of Bristol Cardiff Birmingham & Heathrow are all less than an hour and a half away. Spa Usage. Book a superior double or twin starting Sunday to Friday and make use of our corporate membership of Lucknam Park Spa ( AA 5 star Hotel of the Year 2010-11). This includes pool sauna steam room gym bikes + 10 % off the a La Carte menu in The Brasserie. Lucknam Park is a 3 minute drive from Trimnells House. Times by arrangement. This limited offer excludes Saturdays. Book online (or phone) as a booking extra from ?10/3hr for 2 people. Spa open 7am to 10pm (Sunday 9pm). Robes towels + slippers provided at the Spa. Turn left at Fosse Ln Take the 1st right onto Bannerdown Rd Follow this road up Bannerdown Hill for about 3 miles until you reach Colerne. With Colerne to your right. Turn right into Quarry Lane. Take the 2nd right onto Trimnells just past the school. Trimnells House will be ahead of you.
